i altered my regular zipper-front pants patterns to make the patterns for these pants. the patterns could definitely be improved. they worked out alright though, i guess. they are super comfy^^
since I don't currently have a sewing machine, i've been borrowing one of the machines at my monday school after work every now and then. also worked on them at my thursday school, where i am the unofficial "assistant" of home ec club. it took me a good 2 months, but alas they are done!
indian ikat, 100% cotton, with wooden buttons. mostly machine-stitched, though i did the button holes by hand, since i didn't have the time at school to figure out the button-hole stitch on the machines there. was actually quite fun:]
thanks :'D I made the pattern for them myself. The pattern itself is alright. This was the first time I made sailor pants (let alone the patterns for one), and even though I did make a first pair with muslin, alter patterns etc, it still wasn't perfect x_x but such is life...
