I'm totally jealous of your hat making skillz, dude.

I'm loving the simplicity of the stripes. You really seem to have a knack for making hats that have nice fitted shapes to them.

Extrapolate that!

well dude, I'm quite jealous of your wallet making skillz, so I say we are even ^___^

I would say "let's do a trade!", but you already know how horribly flaky I am >.<; what's your art making situation now though?!? you back in portland?
thanks :'D I actually made this hat with the purpose of sending it to you (uh... back in September 2007??). the stripes were indeed inspired by your gallery. i would have sent it, but the tension got all screwy because of my lack of wisdom in casting on after knitting the ear-flaps. it was also quite a bit bigger than the measurements you'd sent, and I decided size 8 was too big for this yarn : / it's all right, but I wanted to send you something more nyankorita-style ^_^

as for my hat knitting recipe, the girl who taught me to knit said one should decrease at the rate of 5~8 per row, and usually about after about 6.5inches, knitting from the bottom. if that makes any sense... it's worked out for me pretty well thus far!
awww, thanks hon ;]
